Find Your Calm, Just Outside Your Door

Let the soothing sights and sounds of a pondless waterfall bring peace to your outdoor space.

"There is nothing better than coming home from a long day of work, getting out of the truck and hearing the sounds of babbling brook… I dip my feet with beverage in hand."

— S. Sasseville, Client

POND CONCEPT

Why Pondless?

There’s something timeless about the sound of moving water—steady, grounding, and alive. Waterfalls and winding streams are some of nature’s most peaceful places, yet they’re often missing from the average backyard.

A pondless waterfall brings that same sense of flow and serenity home—without the upkeep of a full pond. Whether it’s nestled into a garden or winding along a patio, it’s not just beautiful to look at—it changes the whole feel of your space. Like stepping into your own quiet corner of the woods.

"I never imagined how much this little waterfall would change the vibe of my yard. It feels like I’ve got my own private retreat now. The crew was incredible—thoughtful, creative, and just great people to work with."

HOW IT WORKS

How a Pondless System Works

Every pondless waterfall or stream runs on a hidden underground reservoir that recirculates water through the feature. Tucked beneath layers of natural stone and gravel, the reservoir stays completely out of sight—no standing pond, just the clean look and sound of moving water.

In New England, these systems can go weeks without a top-off. And for those looking to take sustainability even further, we can design larger reservoirs that collect and reuse rainwater—making your feature not just beautiful, but self-sustaining.

If you're dreaming of a water feature that blends seamlessly with nature and works in harmony with the seasons, a pondless waterfall is a smart, sustainable choice.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

The Gift that Keeps on Flowing!

A pondless waterfall brings so much to a space —here are just some of added benefits to your daily life.

Dense Neighborhoods

The gentle sound of moving water helps soften surrounding noise and adds a natural sense of privacy to your space.

Busy Streets

Got traffic nearby? A stream or waterfall can help mask the hum of the road with something much more peaceful.

Small Children

Shallow, pondless features give kids a safe, hands-on way to explore and connect with the natural world—without deep water to worry about.

POND PRICING

Pondless Waterfall Pricing Guide

We know budgeting for a custom water feature can feel like a shot in the dark. That’s why we’ve made our pricing transparent—so you can get a realistic sense of what to expect before diving in.

To estimate the cost of your build, a simple formula can help:
Price = $1,500 x Stream Length (in feet)
So, a 10-foot-long pondless stream would start around $15,000.

This gives you a solid ballpark, but it’s not the whole story. Factors like limited site access, steep grades, or major restoration work can affect the final price. For more insight, check out the pricing table below and explore our portfolio to see what’s possible at different scales.

Pondless Size Price Range
Small: 5–7 ft stream $8,000 – $12,000
Medium: 7–10 ft stream $13,000 – $18,000
Large: 10–15 ft stream $19,000 – $25,000
XL: 15+ ft stream $26,000 – $40,000+
